SOUL TIME DECEMBER 2015, WITH VINTAGE VINYL AT THE FOX AND HOUNDS, CAVERSHAM. THIS NIGHT IS ALWAYS ON THE FIRST FRIDAY 8.00 TO MIDNIGHT. LISTEN TO THE RECORDING ON MIXCLOUD-JIM B. DONOVAN…..
This is the December Soul Time session that wandered a little! musically with a few tunes that some people would not consider “Soul”, but what the heck, it’s all music and the artists did put their soul into it. Thanks to David Crocker who guested and gave the Crusader and Gil Scott a good go. He also got the best spot, when the pub crawlers appeared!, and totally filled the bar. I played the Fever 45’s new take on Gils Lady Day. The Fevers are an amazing local band who you will hear more from. Nice to see so many faces and another birthday booking in the diiary for next year. Back at the Fox a week friday for the Xmas Reggae special. Enjoy this one all you Soultimers ( that makes me think I ought to start a club), and back again in 2016, my how time flies!-Jim
