Well we moved the night one evening forward to coincide with the afroba Halloween fancy dress party, and boy was it a busy one, especially after 9.00, when the fancy dressers turned up en masse, check the facebook photos! The plot for me was to get as much halloweeny type music in as possible as well as pay respects to Mr. Scruff for his great gig in reading recently. When he popped into the shop I presented him with a set of 8 afroba cd’s, so watch out in future for afroba type music turning up in his sets. The afroba staff spent ages decorating the place, which together with some of my horror posters and Elvira in the window really caught the atmosphere. I also laid on some Horror-and a few others!, SUPER 8 films, which we had given a shot at, at the previous nights new session TRACKS and GROOVES, which you must get down to on the last Thursday. Towards the end we got into a little reggae/ska music to pave the way for Neville Staples of the Specials gig on Halloween itself, at which I drop yet more tunes, and show more films! So onward and up ward to the next session, with news then of our Xmas specials-Yours, Count Jimula.
