Well and this is beginning to become a cliché, another night that exceeded my expectations. My problem is however I do not get out enough, so I have no idea whether nights like this are commonplace, in Reading anyway. From the comments I received on the night it does not seem so, with so many new faces saying how they were enjoying the selection and that they would be back. The Mighty AC (the hardest working man in show business?) joined me, having also played out at Mondo Fuzz (another highly rated night) at the Global the night before, and dropped a load of goodies. I tried for a bit of an “African/ Glastonbury” theme for obvious reasons, with a few tributes to those recently passed.
So onward and upward with the next session back on JULY 31 st. and news then of the possibility of another “trip influenced” new night starting on AUGUST 26th….Yours/DJ Wasting Away (Jimbo)……………………………………
